The true country tradition at breakfast: our pride

The breakfast that we offer to our guests at Masseria Berzario is exclusively prepared with selected organic ingredients directly from farm to table. We only buy our products from trusted sellers with whom we have been dealing for several years.

The quality and freshness of the raw materials we use are at the core of our breakfast which includes:

Seasonal fruit and vegetables are freshly picked from the Masseria's garden, with the addition of orange, apricot, strawberry, mulberry and fig jams that we prepare exclusively with our own fruits.

The cafeteria provides: espresso or American coffee, cappuccino and chocolate alongside a wide selection of teas, herbal teas and also fresh fruit juices and extracts

Pasticciotti, brioches, Salento cakes and croissants from a local artisan pastry shop

Homemade bread from a local bakery with our organic extra virgin olive oil

Cacioricotta cheese produced by a local cheese factory whose sheep graze in our Masseria’s meadows

Fresh eggs from our hens and certified organic yogurt from a local producer.

The breakfast we offer to our guests becomes a real "Food tasting experience" that we simply like to call "Authentic Salento Breakfast"!

the symbols of Salento at 360 degrees by Fabio De Benedettis, Photographer in Rome who studied at the "Stanmore College of Art" in London. Fabio De Benedettis has exhibited in various group and personal exhibitions in Italy, China, England, Argentina, Germany and Singapore. The permanent art exhibition (s)COMPOSIZIONI is a selection of the symbols of Salento in 360°.

The Sculpture Garden among the Masseria’s olive grove

artwork by Francesco Paglialunga, a Salento sculptor specialised in Lecce stone and sculptures on olive trees affected by xylella. Francesco Paglialunga has participated in various symposiums on MONUMENTAL SCULPTURE and has been an assistant to the sculptor Gianpiero Carlesso at the Ronchini Gallery in London.
